Pavilion Refurbishment Fund

Didcot CC is launching its Pavilion Refurbishment Fund to improve the facilities at the main Power Station ground.

The pavilion was built and extended as a result of extensive work by members several years ago, but needs to have significant improvements to get it up to the standard required by an ambitious Club such as Didcot. This includes meeting requirements of "Clubmark" to ensure proper facilities for juniors.

The key points that need addressing are the changing rooms, showers and kitchen facilities.

Further details will be available later.

JOGLE Cycle Ride

Several members of the Club are embarking on a cycle ride from John O'Groats to Lands End (JOGLE) in July 2009, aimed to take about 12 days. This is to raise money for the Club's Pavilion Refurbishment Fund. Further details will be given later.

Didcot Cricket Club

Didcot CC is a cricket club which was set up in the 1970s to serve the town of Didcot, South Oxfordshire, and the surrounding villages. Didcot is one of the fastest growing towns in Britain, due to the expansion plans of the government and the South East Regional Development Agency.

Didcot play home games at the Power Station Ground, and run three teams in the Cherwell League. We are hoping to enter a fourth team for the 2009 season.

Didcot have a existing website which gives a lot more detail on the club
